The collectivo leaves Solentiname at 5:00am, arriving in San Carlos before 7:00am. It returns from San Carlos the same day, leaving San Carlos at 1:30pm, arriving in Solentiname about 4:30. Private pangas can be hired in San Carlos. They should cost between $90 and $125.00, depending on your negotiating skills.
